The building is situated at Psyhiko municipality, on 81, Vasileos Pavlou Street. It combines the advantages of a suburban residence with the practicalities of a house in a central Athens area. It can be easily accessed via main Athens roads like Kifisias and Katechaki avenues, while it is within walking distance from public transportation means (buses and subway). In the neighbourhood, one can find super markets, vegetable open markets, drug stores, clothing stores, bakeries, all the major banks, public services, schools, playgrounds, cinemas, gyms, hospitals, maternity home, etc. Furthermore, within walking distance, the Panormou subway station lies, around which a large number of bars, restaurants and other recreational places exist. The place is becoming a popular hang-out area for both winter and summertime. There are also two parks in the vicinity (200m. away), while the area of Psyhiko is ideal for long relaxing walks. The embassies of Israel, Morocco and Azerbaijan are located at the same residential block with the building, ensuring an around-the-clock police presence outside the building. This fact makes the building ideal for an embassy, and limits the need for hiring private security companies. The building was built partially during three different periods, the two lower floors in 1954 and the other two floors in 1970 and 1974 respectively. It was built by the landlord, who was a civil engineer; therefore it was constructed according to the strictest safety regulations. No earthquake has ever affected the building structure. The total built area of 510 square meters has been proved to be a great advantage of the building because since it was built there has been a change in building regulations allowing much less space to be; nowadays the percentage of the structure factor is 0,6 while the one during the building period was 0,8. At the north-east side, the garden of the building is connected with the gardens of the Morocco embassy and the other buildings around, creating a unique green scene. All around the building there are gardens with big trees (Olive tree, orange trees, lemon trees, and many others, while along the southwest side, there is a "wall" of tall bamboos that isolate the house from the neighboring building). The gardens are visible from all the apartments, all around the house, offering a unique "green isolation" from the urban environment.
